Mine is because our house was broken into yesterday morning while my husband and I were at work. I'm 13 weeks along and I haven't shot since about 4 months ago. I spent all day and night crying and worrying about brining our child into this scary world where now not even our own home is safe. My husband reminded me that I have to be my own advocate and know how to protect myself for the times when hes not around. I will be going to an outdoor range this weekend to brush up on my skills. Lead poisoning wouldn't show up right away in a young baby whose mother was exposed to lead. Their is no cure for lead poisoning, lead can be removed from the body by chemical processes but it would not totally get rid of all of it, and even a small amount of it may harm the fetus or a young baby. Why take the chance?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-924949903076710721.post-8765591748181899992013-11-26T06:19:43.108-08:002013-11-26T06:19:43.108-08:00Kay, the information still applies.
